It’s almost 10 years since the first single shot images of ink being jetted were captured by Steve Hoath from Cambridge University. Since then many studies have been undertaken to understand what happens after the drop leaves the nozzle. Satellites, misting, static charging can all destroy an otherwise perfect print. Steve Hoath will be presenting at The Inkjet Conference 2015 discussing advances in inkjet measurement and standardisation. Guy Newcombe will be presenting on the impact of the static charge and how to dramatically improve system reliability by addressing this phenomenon.
