Emerged from cooperation between The Inkjet Conference and the iPrint Institute, The Inkjet Training welcomes participants from ink companies and equipment manufacturers. They can be novices to inkjet or with many years of experience. Limited to just 20 participants, the course places are quickly booked. Participants come from all over Europe and also from as far afield as California, Korea and Sri Lanka. It is a great mix of people all interested in inkjet.
A key element of the course is the lab set up. Six print platforms are available for participants to use for the duration of the course and the laboratory equipment enables a wide range of analytical testing to be conducted. Drop watching, particle size analysis, contact angle analysis, adhesion tests, material compatibility are all part of the programme. Theory is backed up by structured practical exercises in the lab, many different printheads driven by different data paths with different ink supply systems give participants ample time to experiment and are encouraged to freely use all set-ups.
With more than 50% lab time, the course covers all aspects of inkjet engineering and inject chemistry, bridging the gaps between the technology silos. Mechatronics, Chemistry, Electronics, Software, Colour, Surface Science, System integration and Printheads are all covered on this intensive 5 day course. Whether your background is in chemistry, mechanical engineering, electronics, software, print applications or inkjet. TheIJT will bring you up to speed on all aspects of inkjet engineering and inkjet chemistry.
