TheIJC USA shows’ primary focus is on the current trends as well as the latest advances and future expectations in digital print.
Join Allnex at stand C5, where their professionals will be on-hand to discuss how they can provide specialized resins for UV/EB Inkjet printing, namely in EBECRYL® and UCECOAT® product lines.
Allnex is also proud to have Dr Jo Ann Arceneaux, presenting at the show “Solutions for next generation inkjet inks: Waterborne UV and UV LED boosters”.
Date: April 13, 2018
Time: 11:30am – Day 2, Track 2
Abstract: Because of increasing regulatory pressure on acrylate monomers, the UV curable inkjet market is investigating the use of UV curable waterborne resins and PUDs. After some initial success in this area, investigations are also focusing on the use of waterbased UV PUDs in indirect food packaging applications. Another trend in UV curable inkjet inks is the use of UV LED lamps for the entire curing process. Because of increased oxygen inhibition effects with UV LED, and the desire to reduce/eliminate nitrogen inerting, there is a need for raw materials with faster UV LED cure speeds under ambient cure conditions. This presentation will provide information on both waterbased UV inkjet inks, and a new raw material with improved UV LED cure speed.
